ACTORS PREP
BECAUSE ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE.

Watch a kid light up
a stage.
Ever watch a child sleep with their Fisher-Price microphone?
Act out an entire scene from Frozen? Use a table cloth as their stage curtain?
These are perfect candidates for Actors Prep.
As well as kids who prefer to watch from the side lines or not speak at all.
They, too, benefit from time and space spent on a stage. To experiment and approach the stage on their own terms. To understand how it works.
Actors Prep provides an easy going outlet for elementary grade children to be in a play.
WATCH A STAGE
LIGHT-UP A KID.

Being on a stage elevates a child.
Actions and words take on a new importance.
Young actors take hold of this new opportunity to present themselves in a clear, direct way.
Above all, young actors interact and form a group. They make new friends from other schools. The experience ensures the child is seen and heard.

ACTORS PREP FOUNDER,
KATHY BOLUCH, HAS BEEN DIRECTING PLAYS SINCE 2008.
Why?
Because it is the best. There is nothing quite as thrilling as seeing kids emerge from their shells. Watching their self-confidence grow. Nothing beats the moment when the actors run off stage yelling, "We did it!"
Miss Kathy has her Massachusetts professional teaching certification in Art, K-12. She was in plays when she was growing up. The experience was a catalyst for maximum creativity, combining all arts in one discipline. Painting, making props, designing costumes, singing, dancing, writing and acting.
Theater has a lot in common with sports: actors are a team, performing with split-second timing, in front of an audience, mastering sequences practiced again and again, involving athleticism, brains and guts --- just like sports. It means sharing unforgettable moments with other kids like you.
